Early in his career, David ran a Health Force Franchise that he grew to a $3 million business operation. His success earned him an opportunity to become a partner in the business in early 2000. Ten years, and 14 acquisitions later – David found himself leading a team of over 2000 associates providing home health care services that generated over $50 million. In November 2015 David and his partners sold the business to Almost Family, Inc. which was later acquired by LHC Group – the 2nd largest home care company. David agreed to assist LHC Group during the transition. Over the course of a year, he coordinated 28 new acquisition or joint venture opportunities and generated 224 qualified leads for continued pursuit.

David credits much of his success to his entrepreneurial spirit, passion for building successful teams. As a leader, he created the role of Chief Talent Officer and started Black Stone University – an emerging leaders development program that saw 30% of participants reach upper management positions.

His achievements have earned many awards and much recognition: Association for Corporate Growth – Deal Maker of the Year, E & Y Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist, Business Courier 40 Under 40, 2-Time Business Courier – Fast 55 Award, 2-Time Government Affairs Advocate of the Year, Ohio Council for Home Care and Hospice, Council on Aging of Southwest Ohio – Outstanding Professional in Aging, 3-Time Best Home Health Care Agency, and Venue Magazine’s Healthcare Leadership Award.

David is a graduate of Ball State University. He currently lives in Cincinnati, OH with his wife, son, and daughter. When he isn’t working on new ventures or advising other leadership teams, he enjoys volunteering for his children’s high school athletic teams.
